When can I buy a Care Plan service plan?

You can purchase Care Plan at any time while your product is still within its manufacturer's parts and labour warranty period.

Can I buy a warranty elsewhere?

Extended warranties are available from other retailers, insurance companies and other providers. Protection may also be available for limited periods from you credit card provider.

Warranties purchased elsewhere may not provide the same level of protection as Care Plan.

Can I claim on my home contents insurance?

Your household insurance may only protect you for accidental damage, fire damage or theft of your product, not breakdown due to mechanical or electrical failure.

Can I cancel my Care Plan?

Yes, please return your certificate to us within 45 days of purchase. We will arrange for your Care Plan to be cancelled and will issue a full refund subject to no repairs or replacements being recorded.

You may cancel your Care Plan at any time after the 45 days. Where you cancel after this period you will be provided with a refund subject to no repairs or replacements being recorded. The refund will be calculated pro rata on the number of days remaining of your Care Plan period.

Is my product protected by the Consumer Rights Act?

All products you buy are protected by the Consumer rights act 2015. If the product is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described then you may claim under the Consumer Rights Act against the retailer – the company that sold you the product – not the manufacturer.

You have the right to request a repair or a replacement product for up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland). However, after the first 6 months the burden is on you to prove that the product was faulty at the time of delivery.

When will my Care Plan end?

Your Care Plan will continue regardless of how many repairs are made until it expires as indicated on your certificate.

However, if we replace your product with a new one the protection will end at that time.

What do you do with my data?

We require you to submit personally identifiable information in order for you to make use of our services. You confirm that any information you enter will be true. We will only request and collect information which is necessary or reasonable in order to provide you with your requested services and to improve the services that we provide. We may share this information with third party agents as part of this process such as subcontracted regional repair agencies.
